Abuse and Violence Prevention

Each year, ChildServ helps more than 2,800 children and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties to build better lives and break the cycle of abuse, poverty and violence.

To report child abuse, call the Abuse Prevention Hotline: 1-800-25ABUSE.

To report domestic violence, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233.

We connect children and families in each of our programs with the community resources they need to build a better life and ensure their health and safety.

Connect4Tots is sponsored by the City of Chicago and University of Chicago Urban Labs. Its purpose is to connect Chicago-area parents and guardians of children ages 1 to 3 with evidenced-based information on their child’s developmental milestones and connect them to Chicago-area resources, such as vaccinations and free clinics, public assistance enrollment services, age-appropriate events, and early learning resources. For more information on the program, please contact Connect4TotsFeedback@cityofchicago.org.
