GrandFamily Support
ChildServ's GrandFamily Support Program is designed to address the critical needs of grandparents who serve as primary caregivers or who provide supplemental care for their grandchildren. Program components include in-home assessments, educational and peer support groups, short-term counseling, linkage to community resources and modest emergency cash assistance. The program coordinator works closely with grand families to assist them in obtaining needed resources that enable them to continue as caregivers. Community Served: Cook County
