Lake County Family Service Center
The Lake County Family Service Center provides a broad range of social services to the community including mental health therapy, domestic violence prevention through group and individual counseling, immigration and citizenship services to assist with application and preparation for taking the U.S. citizenship examination, and English as a Second Language with accompanying day care. Other services include educational advocacy for families challenged in working with the school system, assistance with establishing quality in-home family day care services, and Ways to Work which provides automobile loan assistance for families in need.
