Ways to Work helps low-income parents obtain an affordable car loan and the opportunity to restore or build their credit standing while improving the quality of life for the entire family. Working parents who must travel to a better paying job find their biggest obstacle to be reliable transportation. Our banking partner, Harris Bank, has joined with ChildServ to help those who cannot go to the bank directly. Applicants participate in financial management classes to gain a better understanding of basic financial principles. Communities Served: Lake and Cook counties in Illinois
